The Global Game Jam is a yearly international event in which small groups of developers, artists, designers and other creative talents create small games based on a global theme in only 48 hours. This year’s theme was ‘what do we do now’. A literal translation of this theme can be found in our little mashup of multiplayer brawling and experimental gameplay.
In iObject, an alien race has decided to steal a lot of items from different dimensions. With these items they are trying to fulfil their most desired wishes: bake an egg, make a burger or get rich. It’s all pretty random.
You are one of the aliens. By combining the lower tier objects, you can create new, higher tier objects. It’s a constant search for the right combinations, some of which are really unpredictable. Can you find the tier 1 objects and beat your fellow aliens?
iObject was nominated for the shortlist (final 9) for the best GGJ15 game in Amsterdam.
